presenting our 25th annual month-long celebration including the ARTrageous Parade along with Africa in the Ozarks on Saturday, May 5th...and continuing through the month with the unveiling of the new Art Park, annual Art Fair in Park, White Street Studio Walk, Books in Bloom, Saturday Gallery Strolls, Taste of Art and more....the May Festival of the Arts is produced by the Eureka Springs Mayor\'s Arts Council.

The Eureka Springs Gallery Association is very excited about the local May Festival of the Arts. While every day is a festival of the arts in the area’s 30+ galleries, the  nine Association galleries celebrate this annual city-wide event by having weekly Strolls with special events EVERY Saturday in May.

Eureka Springs seems to be a magnet for the creative energies which flow from the many artists and fine craftspeople who make their home in and around this small town. Well-known as an art destination, the city has people who visit on a regular basis from all over the world. Local galleries represent more than 900 local, regional, national, and international artists, so there is always something new to intrigue and delight you.

Every medium imaginable is represented by these amazing galleries. During May, gallery shows will include blown and fused glass, sculpture, photography, paintings and prints, fine jewelry, pottery. Additionally, this year’s theme show, entitled Widgets, Gizmos & Doohickeys!, will feature 30 area artists letting loose their creativity with only size being a parameter for their imagination.
