May Festival of the Arts

May Festival of the Arts

Eureka Springs - A Top 25 Arts Destination

presenting our annual month-long celebration of the Arts beginning May 1st with the ARTrageous Parade and continuing through Memorial Day Weekend May 28-31st. . .with an expanded line up for 2010 including the premier of the GRAND ILLUMINATION and the Invitational Art Show at the newly opened Queen Anne Mansion!

Eureka Springs, Arkansas is home to more than 30 fine art and fine craft galleries plus more than 300 working artists in the visual and performing arts. And that’s not tallying the countless creatives in the areas of music, literary, and entertainment – think chefs, poets, film makers, and the list goes on.

Each May for 22 years, we have honored the creative urges of all our residents (about 2300) and tens of thousands of visitors who join us in what has come to be called the May Festival of the Arts – a month long celebration where you are bound to find art around every corner here in Eureka Springs.

The 2010 May Festival of the Arts is a co-production of the Eureka Springs Arts Council and the CAPC office along with numerous volunteers who brought together the community to celebrate the arts in all its forms.
