No, sorry to report that the Downtown Network group that sponsored the Grand Illumination has decided not to hold the event. It may be that we still see a lot of participation though by businesses and individuals that ‘decorated’ the town with lanterns the last two years. Hope you will plan to visit and check it out along with all the amazing things scheduled throughout the month!

Sorry Jo for this confusion – it is a typo….what you see posted as the 25th Annual Festival is the calendar for 2012! We are still compiling the itinerary as each organization sets their dates so hope you will check back. Expect to have most things scheduled by our Jan 15th deadline.

Husband & I would like to make plans to visit Eureka Springs to attend some of the 2012 Festival events. We wanted to see what the 2012 itinerary is before making travel plans, but the website is confusing. When you click on “2012 Schedule of Events,” it takes you to a page that says, “25th Annual May Festival of the Arts 2011 – Calendar of Events.” Is that 2011 a typo? Or has the 2012 itinerary not been set yet?
